DSM Research Laboratory, Delft - The Netherlands

The new laboratory building ‘DSM Lab 6’ replaces the current laboratory that dates back to 1984 and it is the first step in the so-called Fit4Future program: the redevelopment plan for the western part of DSM Delft as the biotechnology campus.

The new facility incorporates a wide range of functions, including laboratories, cleanrooms, offices and a conference centre. The result is a very flexible and modern building where innovation and sustainability, research and business come together. Deerns was involved in all technical aspects of the project including electrical, IT, security, mechanical, control, transport and process utility systems.
