Data centre infrastructures

The IT cabling infrastructure in a data centre is one of the most critical success factors to ensure availability of IT services provided by the data centre. A cabling infrastructure aimed purely at maximum (protocol) performance does not necessarily guarantee high availability. And, often, it does not match the business objectives.

That is why we design with a philosophy in mind that is based on three critical success factors: performance, operational manageability, and flexibility of the infrastructure. During the process, we will focus on these factors, thus realising the best performing data centre infrastructures.

Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) stands for integration of IT processes and IT management in organisations. Familiar territory where Deerns is concerned. We know the requirements that are put on data centres’ MEP systems and how these complex systems are to be managed. DCIM stands for integration of both expertises.
